Privacy Policy
How TVDM — The Vine Digital Marketing collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who we are
TVDM (The Vine Digital Marketing) is a digital marketing agency based in Perth and Mandurah, Western Australia, serving clients across Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our services, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number and company name — when you fill in our contact form, request a free audit or engage our services.
Billing information needed to invoice you for projects, plans and hosting. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we never store full card numbers.
Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics when you browse this website.
Service data required to deliver your campaigns and hosting — such as website analytics, search rankings, domain details and backups.
3. How we use your information
To respond to enquiries and provide audits and quotes; to deliver the services you engage us for; to invoice and collect payment; to send service notices such as renewal reminders and reports; and to improve our website and services.
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell your personal information.
4. Cookies & analytics
This website uses essential cookies needed for it to function, and analytics that help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Embedded services — such as Google Maps on our contact page — may set their own cookies subject to their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
5. Who we share data with
Trusted service providers who help us operate: hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, email providers and analytics services — each bound by their own privacy obligations.
We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
6. Storage & security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (SSL), access controls and regular backups. Some service providers we use may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiry data is kept for up to two years after last contact. Client account and billing records are kept for the periods required by Australian tax law. Website backups within hosting plans are retained on the rolling schedule described in your plan, and deleted when your plan ends.
8. Your rights & contact
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To do so — or to raise a privacy concern — contact us and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
